THE LOVE YOU NEED TO GIVE

Friends,

I'm here tonight to tell you that it's time for you to stand up as yourselves. There is far too much cowering and holding back and pulling your punches. There is no need to stand back so much; it hurts people when you do such a thing. There is no reason to stand apart from your loved ones as if you are not there with them, as if you do not have a heart. The heart you have and that I gave you is huge, it is magnificent. It stands up as itself. There is no holding back with your heart; it stands up as itself when you are willing to love.

The only thing standing in the way of you and your heart is you. You are the only thing that stops your heart from loving, stops your heart from giving what it means to say, what it wants to say with every fiber of its being. Oh My beloveds, your heart is important. Without it, this world will die. It dies when there is no love given to it. So please, I beg you, give your heart as fully as you can. Do not hold back.

If I were to tell you that tomorrow your life would end, how would you feel about such a thing? Would you feel badly about your life? Would you feel like you needed to do more to complete this lifetime with honor and decorum? Would you feel like you had failed because you had not fully given your love to the people that matter to you? I beg you friends, don't hold back your heart. Your heart is all you've got, really. Without it, there is nothing. Nothing at all. Nothing to stand on.

So I beg you, My friends, to give up your pride, I beg you to give up your unkind ways of relating to other people, and instead to love the people around you, and to live in a way in which you could really make a difference. The difference you could make is enormous, My friends, it is great. And it all starts with a willingness to go beyond your normal scope of what you're willing to do. If you would be willing to do a little more, to be a little more given to this place, a little more given in your heart, a little more happy to give up all the things that are standing in the way of you being what you are supposed to be here as My child, then we have a deal. It would be tremendous for anyone to decide that they're willing to give up their ego for Me, to give up everything they know or could ever want for the sake of living My happy heart and for giving what is needed.

Someday, My friends, there will come a time when the men and women of humanity will stand up as themselves, instead of cowering in the dark. It is My hope that you will help Me counteract such behavior by standing up as yourself, being the one I made. Your heart is great, and it is meant to be shared. Do not hide your light: instead give your light to the world and have it be that you are a blessing; and they will benefit greatly from such a gesture. This gesture you could make is so significant, this gesture of heart. It seems so simple, yet it is extremely sublime in its intention: that of living as the heart you are inside. People don't tend to come right out with such a thing; they hide it, you know? But there is no reason, and I hope that you will see the better of hiding your light. It is not the way it should be, you know.

Don't run away any longer from the longing of your heart. Give your heart a voice to speak with. Give your heart a way to pour itself by letting it flow. Let it out. Give your heart entirely. This may seem like something out of the ordinary and perhaps a bit impossible to you now, but I swear to you that it is the best thing you could possibly do with your life. So don't hold back anymore, please. Give it up entirely, this pattern of holding back. There is no reason to hold back, only to give everything instead. Give it all and don't look back.
