FREE WILL AND GOD

Dear Beloveds,

When you thank Me for the good things that happen in your life -- things that are the results of good choices that you make, the will of others, circumstances, or natural phenomena -- you must also remember that free will was involved in creating that good thing; that there were many reasons, having to do with the wills of various people, that created that favorable situation or that were partially responsible for creating that good thing.

At the same time, you can thank Me for making life in such a way as to allow for such a thing. For example, when you meet the love of your life, and enter into a beautiful and loving relationship, you can be thankful to Me for creating that person, and for creating a loving heart in yourself and in them. But then also, be grateful to them for loving you, and be grateful to yourself for loving them, and for accepting their love. ALL of these factors are what make that wonderful relationship possible. The same is true of any good thing in your life.

This shows how, although I am always giving to My children, I am not completely responsible for the events of their lives.

When you are able to see this in the good times, you are also able to see it in the bad times. When bad things happen in your life, you can appreciate that it was your will, or the will of others, or circumstances, or any combination of these, that caused those bad things to happen.

I provided the free will that makes those bad things possible, but that does not mean I should be blamed. As you saw before, in the example about the good relationship, free will can create beautiful things, too -- things the world truly needs. If I were to take free will away, the world would be in a worse position, because that would take away the opportunity for TRUE LOVE in which people choose to love. And it would take away the opportunity for feeling dedicated, committed, passionate about anything, because people would not act out of desire or care anymore, but rather, as robots.

So you see, the things that I provide -- such as free will -- that allow for bad things to happen, cannot and should not be removed. They simply need to be used better, to allow for good things to happen. Look at it for one second, and you will agree.
