The Dawning of Higher Mind

When they talk about thinking, what most people refer to is lower mind thought. Lower mind thinking includes varying amounts of facts and figures, memories and fantasies, prejudice and superstitions, confusion and speculation -- with a little bit of logic to try to hold it all together. When you look at this "Rube Goldberg" machine for what it is, you understand why its results are so variable, and so often of dubious value.

Fortunately, lower mind isn't ALL there is. Each of us has a higher mind as well. At first, its contributions are often drowned out by the clamor of the lower, or ignored because we don't appreciate them. But as we learn to downplay our lower mind and use our higher mind, we will finally have a reliable guide for right relationship to all parts of life. see article
